Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, owners of the award-winning Ocean Prime Tampa, are introducing The Pearl to Water Street Tampa. The concept was first announced back in 2021.
A restaurant, tavern and oyster room, The Pearl will introduce an expansive menu of chef-inspired cuisine featuring made-from-scratch entrees, shareable plates and seasonal oysters complemented by handcrafted cocktails, a carefully curated wine list and a rotating selection of ales, lagers and stouts. The Pearl is inspired by vintage, urban design and showcases eclectic décor that is both stylish and nostalgic.
The Water Street Tampa location is the first of this concept in Florida. Cameron Mitchell Restaurant first opened The Pearl in the Short North in Columbus, Ohio in 2012, then opened a second location in Dublin, Ohio in 2020.

The Pearl at Water Street will debut later in 2022 at Heron, Water Street Tampa’s newest luxury apartment towers now open and currently leasing. The new tenants bring the total number of retail leases signed at Water Street Tampa this year to well over a dozen.
