Tampa Theatre to host summer classics series

Date:

The Tampa Theatre is nearly 100 years old, and this iconic downtown movie palace continues to screen the best new films in the world, and the longstanding classics of cinema. It has survived the Great Depression, tropical storms, booms and busts in Tampa, and continues to be the ultimate welcoming committee for visitors. This summer, Tampa Theatre brings back its Rewind and Summer Classics series to pay homage to the films that made so many of us fall in love with the art form.

Prepare yourself for the best theater popcorn in the country, a tasty drink, eye contact with a taxidermic peacock, and a pre-film performance from a renowned organist. Our stunning Tampa Theatre is a portal to another time, and another world. Is it haunted? Is it quirky? The two aren’t mutually exclusive. Here’s the full lineup of films coming to Tampa Theatre this summer. Visit their website to reserve tickets in advance.
