Spice 2.0 brings authentic Indian cuisine to International Mall

Date:

Spice 2.0 is now open at the ever-sprawling International Plaza. The food options at our local shopping and dining destination continue to impress. Just a stones throw from the new gelato cart is an upscale Indian restaurant and bar experience. Spice 2.0 owners say the restaurant is inspired by the grandeur of Indian festivals and weddings.

This is the restaurant’s second location — they operate another award-winning restaurant in Westchase. It was named Tampa Magazine’s Best Indian Restaurant in 2021 and 2022, and could make it a threepeat net year. Spice Kitchen is family-owned and operated, and their goal is to bring to Tampa “the authentic flavors of North Indian cuisine from our hometown, New Delhi.”

Gourmet Indian cuisine arrives at International Mall

Ample vegan options abound on the menu. Tandoori Paneer Tikka Pizza is one the top reviewed dishes on the menu, Indian flavored pizza made with naan bread, paneer, peppers, onions, grape tomatoes. The Keema Frankie is also a wonderful start, wpiced and cooked minced lamb wrapped in flaky flatbread, served with mint sauce. Okra fries, and veggie-filled cocktail samosas are also must-try light bites.

If you’re visiting Spice 2.0 with a lare group make sure to indulge in the bread basket featuring Garlic naan, Butter naan, Masala Kulcha, and Lachha Parantha. The main menu features a wide variety of shared plates such as lamb curry, palak paneer, and the sensational shrimp mango masala.

Spice 2.0 serves some of the best dessert in Tampa

Save room for dessert because Gulabjamun is on the menu. This dessert includes sweet flour dumplings soaked in flavored sugar syrup. Add a scoop of gelato for the perfect summer delight.

Spice 2.0 is located at 2223 N Westshore Blvd. You can also visit it in Westchase at 11653 Countryway Blvd. Reservations are available online.

Looking for a deal? Spice 2.0 hosts a happy hour from 12pm-7pm daily. Enjoy $8 house cocktails at this gorgeous new restaurant.
