Called Ups N Downs, the cocktail concept will be situated at the exact same location as King State (520 E Floribraska Avenue). King State Coffee will close at 3pm on weekdays, and Ups N Downs will open promptly at 4pm and operate until 11pm. It will stay open until midnight Fridays and Saturdays, according to an announcement from King State Coffee.

An official opening date is still TBA. The owners behind the beloved coffee shop couldn’t keep the news to themselves any longer. King State has continued to grow since its inception. Food & Wine recognized it as one of the best coffee shops in the entire country. Earlier in 2022 the King State team expanded into St. Pete with a brand new brewery called Brutalist.
