Tampa to host biggest bash ever for 135th birthday at Waterworks Park

Date:

Tampa is about to celebrate its 135th birthday. That’s right. The town with two Super Bowls and Three Stanley Cups is 135, but it doesn’t look a day over 25. To commemorate the occasion the City of Tampa is hosting a 135th Birthday Bash in Water Works Park on July 16.

Join the Tampa community at Water Works Park in Tampa Heights as they bring Tampa’s favorite businesses and family resources, as well as the best Party and Event companies in the Tampa Bay area, to one location. This location just happens to have a gorgeous riverfront view, access to the Tampa Riverwalk, and is just a short jaunt from Ulele and Armature Works.

Tampa’s birthday bash will include interactive exhibits, games, prizes, live entertainment, food trucks and more. Meet companies that serve the Tampa community and families. Guests will also have the opportunity to get contacts and inspiration for planning their own birthdays, showers, graduations, anniversaries and other events.

In addition to offering lush green space, Waterworks Park features a playground, spray park, and a dog park. There will be goody bags for the first 100 families, party favors, giveaways, gifts and so much more, according to the official event page.

The birthday bash is free to attend. Grab a free ticket when you arrive for the City of Tampa’s giveaways to be automatically entered to win prizes from the event sponsors. The event is made possible by Tampa Bay Moms Group, Tampa Bay’s largest event and social site designed to connect families to each other and their community.
