Inc.’s annual release of its Inc. 5000 list is a yearly barometer for the success of privately-owned companies. The list measures the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the United States, and a whopping 43 Tampa companies made the 2022 rankings.
Ideal Agent, a real estate software platform company, was the highest ranking of the bunch, checking in at No. 73 overall with a massive growth rate of 5,514%. The nationwide real estate service is headquartered in Tampa, and the company promises to help homeowners anywhere “sell your home for top dollar with top local agents for as little as 2% commission.”
In total, 91 Tampa Bay area businesses made the Inc. 5000 list, with Clearwater’s Kitrum earning the highest rank at No. 50 overall. Kitrum, which experienced a 6,799% growth rate, is a software development company that helps CTOs build dedicated development teams.
Ideal Agent was the only Tampa company to crack the top 100 of the list, though five other Tampa-based institutions earned top 500 rankings among the 5,000 companies listed.
